In the studio hard at work...
I became the leader/ songwriter of a singing group called the Martinique’s. There was a time when A & R would allow recording hopefuls to have their music listened to by professionals. Mr. Phil Wright was a music producer who gave me this opportunity; he worked at Capitol Records in 1969. I wrote and recorded six songs at that time. I also was a writer for Beech Wood Music, a publishing subsidiary for Capitol Records Inc. This was a great accomplishment for me as well as the group. After the group broke up, I continued on as a solo artist and started my own record label with the music I wrote. I have sold music in California, Georgia, and Tennessee. I have performed for live engagements at super clubs, music festivals, night clubs, and fashion shows. I enjoy writing and performing music that appeals to everyone in all walks of life...
